those can be done in seconds, but ship and location does matter a little bit.

we have a shared ship in 2CSS thats a Venture with scan rigs a Probe launcher a weapon and/or mining laser. this allows this tasks to be completed in less than a minute.

location however matters, the best place to do the scanning task is to be in a school system like Cellion as there will be a lot of newbie signatures that are easy to scan down.

just launch the probes set to 4AU move the center to the star and press scan, in most cases this will already resolve 2-4 signatures at once.

then just look where another red “x” is .. move the center to the planet that is nearby and scan again, that should do it.
